Supply Disruption Alert - Infineon/Vishay
Good Afternoon!
I am emailing you about a few of the primary manufacturer’s we support – INFINEON, OSRAM, and VISHAY. You may already be aware, but a plating subcon site of those manufacturers caught fire recently at Welnew Wuxi in China. Operations have been halted for many of their packages. In realistic terms, the estimated time to restart production activities is at least 5 months.
As with any natural disaster like this, many supply chain issues arise for Abacus customers. Should there be any items you require from INFINEON, VISHAY or OSRAM that may be affected let us know. We will work tirelessly to help resolve any delay this may have caused.
The specific part types affected on the Vishay side are:
TSOP-6, TO-236 (SOT-23), SO-8, PowerPAK 1212-8, Thin PowerPAK 1212-8, PowerPAK SO-8, and 1206-8 ChipFET.
The specific items for Osram are the:
Advanced Power TOPLED: LA G6SP, LA G6SP.01, LY G6SP
Mini TOPLED: LS M67F, LY M67F
Power TOPLED: LA E67F, LA ETSF, LS E67F
SIDELED: LA A67F, LS A67F
TOPLED: LA T67F, LS T67F, LY T676
The Infineon items (over 300 part numbers) affected are the packages:
P-/PG-SC74*, -SOD323*, -SOT143*, -SOT23*, and PGSC79* -SOT223*,
-SOT323*, -SOT343*, -SOT363*, -SOT89*, -TDSON*, -TSFP*, -TSSOP*
