The Embedded Vision Summit 2025 highlighted new ideas in how computers see and understand images. Companies are making big steps in edge AI, which means AI that works right on a device instead of in the cloud.
MemryX won an award for its edge AI product. This product is easy to use and does not need a lot of power. Nota AI is working with Qualcomm to make AI models work better on devices. SiMa.ai and Wind River are working together to make AI and machine learning easier to use for smart devices at the edge. Vision Components showed a new system of MIPI "bricks." This system lets people build camera systems like they are building with blocks. These new tools are helping AI work in many areas like robots, factories, cars, and health.
